Antibody-Drug Conjugates in Oncology: From Bench to Bedside - K. Y. Chen - 20250122
Antibody drug conjugates have seen a rise in use for the treatment of many different types of cancer. These agents possess a unique mechanism of action different than our prior cancer-directed therapies. Kevin Chen, PharmD, MS, BCOP, CPP, will dive deeper into their structure and pharmacology, key landmark trials highlighting their benefit, and current toxicity challenges limiting their potential, with the goal for attendees to better understand these novel therapeutic agents and incorporate them into their practice.

Linda Burhansstipanov, MSPH, DRPH, OPN-CG provides an overview of how the field of patient navigation has evolved since its inception in the late 1980s / early 1990s. It includes a brief overview of the nationally recommended metrics and CMS codes for reimbursement of navigation services. It also identifies what is missing in the codes to fully address the cancer continuum.

Novel Therapeutics for Waldenström Macroglobulinemia - C. Dittus - 20250226
Christopher Dittus, DO, MPH, will provide an overview of how to diagnose Waldenstrom Macroglobulinemia (WM) and differentiate it from MGUS and other types of indolent lymphoma. he will discuss potential emergency situations related to hyperviscosity and how to effectively manage this complication. Regarding treatment, Dr. Dittus will discuss standard frontline and relapsed therapy and will review clinical trials evaluating immunotherapy and novel targeted agents.
