This presentation will talk about the importance of social support systems for Cancer patients. The speaker will discuss the challenges of getting and giving support and provide some potential strategies for achieving this goal. Learning Outcomes: • Assess different types and sources of social support. • Identify reasons why getting and giving social support is a complicated activity. • Employ potential strategies for helping ensure that patients get effective support that provides them with the emotional and practical coping assistance they need.
